Cataclysm Daily Quest Guide

The Daily Quests is an important aspect of the gold making in World of Warcraft. They are used for everything from plain gold farming, to reputation, gear and even some professions. If you have ever seen a big blue exclamation mark over an NPC then you have seen a daily quest. These can be completed once every day and there's a limit of 25 quests that you can complete at the most. So it's quite important that you choose the best ones for whatever you are playing.

All of the dailies will award you some gold, however, some will give you more than others so be sure that you pick the ones with the highest gold award because these will not just only give you the most gold, but also the most reputation, and the best gear. The average of these are at around 22 gold now in Cataclysm. But this guide is for the ones of you that haven't hit the magic level 85 yet, so if you are still struggling on leveling, you might as well make some gold while doing so. These ones do have a lower overall gold award but it's still quite nice if you don't have a fortune already.

Daily Quest Guide for Sholazar Basin

All the zones in Northrend have about the same amount of daily quests that you can complete in that specific area. Scholazar basin is one of my favorites simply because of the high amount of gold that it pays out. There are a total of 15 dailies in Sholazar Basin, there are some 20 gold quests and the rest will pay you 13 gold per quest.

This Sholazar Basin does not have that many great items or gear but it is the best paying gold per quest area in the whole of Northrend, and because that you are leveling while doing them, reputation shouldn't be your top priority because you will get much better gear once you hit level 85. And one more thing, there are some dailies here that pay 6 gold per quest so you will want to avoid these and just move on to Storm Peaks or Icecrown when you have completed all the dailies of that area.

If you want a consistent flow of gold then I would recommend Storm Peaks, this place does have a lower GKP (Gold per Quest) Ration that the others but there are some great rewards with this one and the dailies are faster and easier that both the Icecrown Skybreaker and the Sholazar ones.
