If you have a problem with cats fighting each other then I think I can help you out. Cats fighting each other can be really annoying and I know because my cats fought for months before I did anything about it. I did not even know anything could be done and just accepted it as part of everyday life. I found some great information after going through so much bad information online though. Here are some great tips to stop cats fighting with each other.
Use Pain - This sounds horrible so I apologize for the title. What you want to do is get your cats to associate pain to fighting with each other. It is up to you as their master to train them to do this. What you want to do is keep some water in a squirt gardening bottle or keep some pans nearby. When you hear them start fighting bang the pans together or squirt them with the water. Nobody likes a loud sudden bang or being squirted (especially cats).
As long as they do not see the squirt has come from you, you will be fine. If they do then they will just fight when you are not around.
Use Pleasure - You do not just want to punish your cats as that is only half of the equation. You also want to reward their good behaviour. This does not take long by the way. You can have a really well trained cat in a month and imagine the benefits that would give to your life. You would have silence in the home and no embarrassment for when others come around about your unruly cats.
If your cats are good for a day and seem to be getting on well beckon them over or go over to them and treat them. This can be something simple like stroking them for half an hour together or even give them a food treat. The deal here is that you have to be consistent. Punish and reward every day and your cats will learn, if you are not consistent they will now they can get around you just like children when they get their own way once. They know there is a way now!
Taking a little time each day to use pain and pleasure with your cat can work wonder in the home. The silence to come home to after a hard day at work and knowing that the cats will not fight at night is a great warm feeling and it well worth the small amount of time training.
