Good children are presented with toys and candies while bad children are given coal. Santa makes gifts with the help of magical elves and carries the gifts in his sleigh driven by eight reindeers. On Christmas Eve, he visits the homes of good children and presents them with gifts.

Children, on the other hand, look forward to this day and eagerly wait for the Santa to come. They decorate their homes with Christmas tree, Christmas stars, lights and pinecones. They also hang Christmas stockings over the fireplace for the Santa Claus to place goodies. Stockings of different styles such as monogrammed, embroidered, personalized are also an important part of Christmas dcor.

Children truly believe in the existence of Santa Claus and eagerly expect gifts from Santa Claus. Hence some parents disguise themselves as Father Christmas and sneak in at night to place gifts of children choice in the stockings. The look of surprise, joy and excitement in the eyes of the children when they open the gifts is a moment worth cherishing.

Nowadays only very few people get time to be with their family and friends at the time of Christmas. Others due to their demanding jobs are forced to celebrate alone. Though the pain of being away from one family is something that cannot be compensated, they can at least bring smiles on the face of their loved ones with Christmas gifts to India.
