Almost everyone owns a cell phone these days. Whether they use a popular contract-based service or well-known prepaid service, people use their cell phones for talking, text messaging, email, file sharing, IM, video capture, games, picture taking, watching TV and video, listening to music, and updating their social networking statuses. People want a cell phone with a long battery life so they can communicate, play, get entertainment, or do business without the worry of constantly charging the battery.

Again, the LG Ally is a Verizon device that provides just a tad over 7 hours of battery life for its users. Its claim to fame is its affordable price in the Android 2.1 market.

Samsung Acclaim

The Samsung Acclaim has a nice-sized 3.2 inch touchscreen display and Android 2.1 technology. It falls in just under the LG Ally with a little over 7 hours of battery life (Hp pavilion dv5 battery life).
