Chad's Day Thirteen: The Hcg Diet Dr. Simeons Offered Us

Day thirteen for Chad! He has been following the HCG diet Dr

. Simeons released. The diet itself has been around for over fifty years, but Chad is only right now giving it a go.

As the tale goes...Dr. Simeons was a medical specialist, an endocrinologist. He put together a weight loss program founded on the use of HCG or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin. Right after his program was released it was called the Cure for Obesity. It was quickly provided with this well meaning sub-catgory name because of its characteristic of providing dieters with rapid and drastic weight loss.

The HCG diet Dr. Simeons offered was HCG based. The HCG was required to be administered regularly in combination with a VLCD or very low calorie diet. The VLCD limited dieters to 500 calories per day. Dieters were also required to stick to a short list of approved foods.

And this is the same dieting program that Chad is currently navigating to get weight loss. He's hoping for drastic, successful results. And since that's the average result...he's expecting it to actually happen! The diet is pretty tough. But Chad finds that if he follows the rules of the diet he actually gets results and it's worth it. On Day 13 he weighed himself first thing in the morning and was at 228 pounds. He went up 1/2 a pound.

But since he dropped drastically in the last couple days he was not too surprised. Sometimes there was a day here and there that does not show weight loss. Chad had just dropped a pound and a half the night before so he felt to go up half a pound today was not that huge of an ordeal. But he did look back at his weight loss journal and think that he needed to be more cautious with his approved fruit servings.

He needed to start acknowledging the accurate or inaccurate serving sizes of the fruits he was eating. He had been making exceptions lately. For example...two medium apples instead of one large apple or large strawberries instead of medium, etc.

The HCG diet Dr. Simeons gave to us has been around for half a century. But in years past it wasn't really available to the average "Joe Shmoe." It was only available for rich or famous people and was distributed or administered at only very exclusive locations. Now...we can all get it! Not just Chad! But you, too! So get out there and take advantage of the opportunity for drastic weight loss.
