They have started breeding all kinds of diseases and have become the habitat for rodents, insects and weeds. There are illegal places to dump rubber, which could even include that corner down your street or in front of your house.

Clearly, dumping rubber has become a huge problem, especially owing to its attribute of painfully slow decomposition. So, one would conclude that the toxic and useless material stays among us for a long time and nothing can be done about it. This is the paradigm shift that is needed. Rubber is an extremely useful substance and instead of dumping it along with your other biodegradable waste, you can repair it. It does not take much time and can be repaired several times, before losing its use. When you have had enough of it, you can always reclaim it or buy this version of regular rubber from a reclaimed rubber manufacturer at a much cheaper rate. Reclaimed rubber is one of the new additions to the environmentalists favorite materials. Since you are not dumping it on the poor earth, that itself makes it eco-friendly. Reclaimed rubber does not generate as much pollution from its manufacture, as compared to the production of its original form. Also, there are number of things that you can use it for, that often makes it even more beneficial than the regular rubber.
