Change Your Forgotten Windows Password Easily

The detailed steps are below:

If your Windows version is Windows XP:

Step1: Press F8 to enter the Advanced Boot Options when your computer is booting.

Step2: Select Safe Mode and access your computer with the Administrator account

Step3: Click Start to select Run box, and then input control userpasswords2, click "OK".

Step4: On the coming up Users screen, click user name that you want to reset the password for, and then click Reset Password to reset.

If your Windows version is Windws 7:

Step1. Repeatedly press F8 key as the computer is booting. It will list the "Windows Advanced Options Menu".

Step2. Select Safe Mode with Command Prompt and enter your computer with administrator account and password.

Step3. Enter net user on the command prompt, and click Enter. It will list all the user names of your Windows accounts. Here I take Jack as a user account for example

Step4. Enter net userjane 123 on command prompt and click Enter. This command line means that you want to reset the lost Jack account password to 123. When it takes effect, youll be able to logon the Jack account with the new password of 123.

Step5. Now all the operations finished and you can restart your computer.
