Change the Skin of Your Windows Media Player

Since the very beginning, Windows Media Player is specifically designed to bring fun and easiness in enjoying music and movies

. Besides, this program also gives you easiness in customizing the appearance of this program, including in changing the skin. Unfortunately, a lot of people do not really understand about the proper steps to do this personalization. Therefore, they keep their media player in the default appearance.

A skin is the custom graphical appearance of certain websites and software that will bring different appeals based on the individual tastes. When you are about to change it, the first thing you need to do is opening your Windows Media Player and checking its update. Having Player the latest version will be great so that you can have more choices of skin. You can click on Help menu and choose About option in order to check the version. To get the latest version, you can click Help and select Check for Player Updates.

Now you can go to Menu and choose View. Here you will find the option of Skin Chooser. Select this option and you will get some skins displayed for your choices. Select a certain skin that you prefer the most and click Apply Skin. Now you can continue to play your favorite music CD or MP3. However, this is not the end of the steps in changing the skin. When the Player plays the first songs, you will see swirling clouds or some other graphical motions on the screen. This is still the default skin and visualization of your Player.

Now, you can do right-click in the middle of your computer screen and you will see a pop-up menu. Here, you will find come categories in changing the visualization. Simply select one of those options and you will get your desired one to be displayed while the player is playing the music files. You can also do it by having a click on the button underneath Now Playing that you can simply find at the top left of the display. Here, you can find the option of Visualizations and you can continue to choose a certain one that you desire to be displayed.

Now, the appearance of your Windows Media Player has been changed. You can start to enjoy the music in a new attractive skin and visualizations.
