Vine charcoal (which is soft and of good quality)
Compressed charcoal (in which gum is also present)
Powder charcoal (used to cover large section and area of drawing)

We all know that the color of charcoal is grey or black. So charcoal drawing is also black and when it is made on white paper then it gives a black and white view which looks very beautiful and attractive. Today many things are drawn with the help of charcoal. In the field of fashion and designing it is also used to make the samples of different things like dresses.
