Charleston, South Carolina has a lot to offer residents living in the area. It is a medium sized city situated in one of the prettiest coastal areas of the South. One of the most remarkable things about this city is that it is known as the "holy city" because its low rise skyline is marked by many church steeples that rise above. The metropolitan area of Charleston-North Charleston-Summerville as a whole ranked 21st in the final listing of the most dangerous metro areas. It is clear that the level of home security in this American city has become compromised.

These statistics and rankings show that Charleston has become a tougher town to live in over the last few years. However, as crime rates have risen, residents' spirits have not fallen. More and more Charleston residents are getting serious about these numbers and are making the necessary investment in a home security system. These systems can protect Charleston residents from the fear and possibility of having their homes broken in to.
