Barbate

Barbate is a very charming fishing village that offers splendid beaches and nature parks even though the volume of tourists is not large. It has a lot of good places to eat where fresh fish is abundant. The famous catch of this town is tuna which is caught using the traditional catch method of almadrabas. The local fishermen use very long sticks which have a line and a hook hung on the fishing boat's sides.
