The beautiful small city is famous for its canals, museums, and historical sights. It is considered as one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe.

It is a city small in size but have all the advantages of a big city: culture, nightlife, quality restaurants, good transports, and luxurious or budget hotels in Amsterdam. Although city has a strong public transport system, but biking and cycling make the city tour more enjoyable and authentic experience.

I have done it in the past but unless you are visiting midweek in the low season, be prepared to either pay a lot of money or to stay in a cockroach infested pit of hell!

Now it is time of explore the city and walk around the Amstel river. Then, depending on where you're going, you can walk most anywhere quickly, but if you want to blend in with the locals, rent a bike with a lock and get a good city map from the tourist office.

During your stay in Amsterdam there are lots of places to visit. You can experience the impressive architectural work, picturesque canal that cut across the city and great variety of shopping. The churches, museums, zoos, botanical garden, wind mills and beach and the oldest building Oude Kerkn, Dam square, The Royal palace Begijnhof are the distinctive places to visit.

However, Night life in Amsterdam is something different and it gives the true sense of amusement. The whole city at night lights up with colourful sparkling lights which creates nothing but a spell of romantic atmosphere which invites its visitors warmly.
