International calling has become part of numerous households all across the world

. Loved ones, friends and family have become so dispersed; business especially has become so global that making an international call is inevitable. Today many phone carriers provide international calling plans so that you can call an international destination, but with a boat load of fees. I figured Ill try some different companies, see what is out there. Apparently there is competition in the VoIP industry, so as a customer I want to get the most for my dollar. With some destinations, I could have talked each minute for just penny.

I learned a lot of tricks companies use to make up their losses when offering lower per-minute rates, such as fees and connection fees etc. So if you see a destination that says 4 cents, when the majority of the other companies are saying they charge 6 cents, then know that there is some type of fee attached to the 4 cents, because the market price is really 6 cents.

There rates are straightforward, no fees, and my favorite part is under your account it shows exactly how long you talked and exactly the amount you were charged for that one call.

If you go to www.mytelex.com just sign up for free, and charge your account, pick a local number save it to your phone, and dial internationally anytime. myTelex turned out to be so much cheaper, and I really like their customer support, I wasnt sure about some of the features such as speed dial, I had never heard of that before when using an online international calling service, and someone from their customer service department kindly explained and walked me through how to use it. Now I dont even have to have my international number memorized, I just save it as a speed dial entry and can press the speed dial number to connect me automatically. This was great because now I am able to call my best friend every morning while driving to work. Anyway, so for all the users out there that use Skype, Rebtel, Tel3, etc etc. consider switching over to myTelex, you will defiantly save in the long run. I still use Skype just for video chat, but that is it!
