Cheap Skin Care Products - Are They Worth The Risk?
Cheap Skin Care Products - Are They Worth The Risk
?
People will spend an extraordinary amount of money on skin care products, over $40 billion a year in the U.S. alone. And within that 40 billion is a lot of wasted money on cheap skin care products that do not live up to their claims. So are they worth the risk, I choose to believe not through experience, but that's a decision you need to make yourself.
I have suffered from skin problems for most of my life, and like many people I chose to use some of the cheapest products I could find hoping they would do the job. I never had the money to purchase those higher priced products, so for years I went through product after product, never really seeing any positive change in my skin condition, although, many problems arose from using these cheap skin care products.
I began to suffer from irritated skin, small rashes and small patches of dry skin began to develop on my face. I guess it wasn't enough that I had to deal with my existing skin problems, but add the breakout of rashes and dry skin to it, I was beginning to wonder if the cheap cream I was using was actually doing more harm than good for my skin. I know there are those who have had the same problem with cheap products, and for those who are thinking about using cheap products do not waste your time or money.
Research, research, research I can't say that word enough, it is because of research I was finally able to cure my skin conditions without the irritated skin problems that plagued me in the past. What I found out after much research is that most of those cheap products contained harmful chemicals like Parabens and Mineral Oils that attributed to my skin irritation.
Parabens: methyl, propyl, butyl, and ethyl paraben are used as a preservative to extend the shelf life of many products, studies suggest they may cause cancer and interfere with the body's indocrine system, also causing skin rashes and allergic reactions.
Mineral Oils: goes by the names liquid paraffin, paraffin wax, and petrolatum. Mineral Oil once applied prevents the skin from breathing, it clogs pores and interferes with your skins ability to eliminate toxins.
And many of these products contained such small amounts of the proven ingredients needed to cure my skin problems, that they were rendered useless.
After doing the research, I came upon a line of natural products that contain some of the most cutting edge ingredients today for your skin care. No more worry about skin irritation or the effectiveness of the product. After using these natural products for only 30 days I have noticed a marked improvement in how my skin looks and feels, my skin is no longer dry and my skin looks very healthy and youthful and my hubby has really noticed it too. No matter what skin ailment you suffer from, I truly believe this line of skin care products will work effectively.
So if you are still wondering if cheap skin care products are worth the risk, from my experience they are not. If I had known what I now know today, the thought of using them would have never crossed my mine.
