If I have to choose the one car brand in two of them than surely I go for the Maruti Alto because of its trustworthy position and the best after sale services. It's true the Chevrolet spark is much better in looking and the car is less in nothing but here is the question of mind set and reliability of the brand. I trust the Maruti Cars more than Chevrolet cars.

If fuel efficiency is your main criteria then there is no other option then Alto. Chevrolet Spark has very good responsive engine and is very stable even at speeds of 100+ KMPH. Alto is also a good car with good service backup and you can expect a mileage of about 15-16 with AC in City.

Chevrolet Spark is also a good car but the service backup is not great as Maruti Service. The prices of Chevrolet spark are higher than Maruti Alto.
