Chicago Blower Canada SQB Type "B" wheel has backward inclined blades designed to handle corrosive or dusty airstreams

. Typical applications include: oven circulating, dust collector exhaust fans, fume exhausters and emissions control systems. Since the blades are solid steel, the "B" wheel is ideal for custom applied corrosion resistent coatings. The SQB is also suited for high temperature gasses and air to 650. For greater safety in explosive environments, spark resistant construction is offered. The versatile SQB is furnished in 14 sizes in Arrangements 1, 9 or 9H and in three classes of construction.

Chicago Blower's SQB is regarded as a high performance, trouble free fan proven in a myriad of industrial applications. With its backward inclined wheel and square housing design, the SQB is efficient, economical and versatile. It is also quickly available through Chicago's Stock Fan program. "Packaged" fans, those furnished with motor, V-belt drive, belt guard and other options, are factory aligned, run tested and shipped ready to install. By eliminating jobsite assembly, the packaged SQB fan can substantially reduce overall installation cost.

To cover the widest range of system requirements, Chicago Blower Canada offers a family of airfoil and backwardly curved fan designs with overlapping performance envelopes. To maintain high efficiency and maximum economy, the system's pressure and flow requirements are matched to one of eleven wheel designs with varying rotor widths and diameters. The selected fan is then sized to exact duty requirements. Wheels are available with either Chicago Blower's proven hollow airfoil blades for clean air, or solid backward curved or backward inclined blades for dusty, dirt applications. With eleven rotor designs, custom sizing and duty matching blades, Chicago Blower builds the fan to meet exact system performance specifications. Severe duty industrial backward curved blowers are supplied in welded heavy gauge steel construction to prevent flexing at high pressure. Available in direct drive arrangements 4/4V/4H/7/8 and belt drive arrangements 1/3/9. BC fans are available in single width single inlet (SWSI), or double width double inlet (DWDI). Capacities: to 500,000 CFM. Static pressure up to 70 inches water gauge depending on the class of construction. Typical class of construction is Class 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Air handling systems are increasing in complexity with the addition of more restrictive emission controls and air cleaning devices.
