If you do find a Chicago courier service that offers refunds when a shipment is late for its scheduled pickup, you may want to consider doing business with that service. If nothing else, this could mean the courier is confident in their ability to delivery your shipment and they care more customer satisfaction than their own schedule. If nothing else, you can expect to get a refund from this courier if any delays do occur that cause your freight to be late.
Just because a courier service offers a refund, this doesn't mean that the company is going to be reliable. If a delay does occur during the shipment process, it can actually prove to be disastrous at times, especially if the item that was being shipped needs to be received or arrive immediately. Even if they are reliable, some companies that offer refunds do charge more for their services to make up for having to give out refunds for unexpected delays. Knowing this, it would be a good idea for a client to check and compare all the couriers in their area. By doing this, they will know all the charges and services that are offered by each of the courier businesses to better help them choose the best option for their business.
