Chicago Nissan dealer likes whimsical approach of Juke campaign
It's not a joke, it's a Juke. The Nissan Juke. Although many of its ads are a bit tongue-in-cheek, the Juke is a serious contender for young buyers - especially those who love comic books and video games. The Juke's cartoon-ish looks and its affordable price make it the perfect choice for those seeking a stylish ride that's recognizable.
If there's one thing the Juke is, it's recognizable. Chicago Nissan dealers will probably have trouble keeping the new 2011 version on the lot. Juke's promotion via quirky commercials featuring donut-grabbing junior executives and car-eating robots are enough to make you want to see this crossover in person.
Even buyers of Libertyville used cars will want to get a look at the new Juke. It's just the kind of car that makes you want hop on the nearest roller coaster.
Available in vivid colors inside and out, the Juke has that cartoon-like quality in more ways than one. Note its front end design which resembles an adorable Disney character. In fact, it would be really cool to see Disney make an entire ride out of the Juke. Perhaps they could re-create the ads and puts us in as the Juke's drivers. Nissan, are you willing to sponsor a Disney attraction?
Hats off to the marketing team that came up with the ad campaign. I don't even fit into the demographic Nissan is targeting and I want to buy one. Not that it's very practical for a family with just two doors. But my nine-year-old has short legs and can surely squeeze into the back without too much trouble.
The only thing I would worry about is that my car would have more personality than I do. I mean, regardless of what you think of the Juke, you have to admit it's got personality. Move over Fit and Mini Cooper - the Juke has cornered the car personality market.
Chicago Nissan customers can check out other amazing models from Nissan, like the comparable Cube. It's more family-friendly than Juke and has lots of personality as well, but is a bit more sedate overall.
With a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the Juke runs on 188 horsepower and a six-speed manual transmission. An automatic option would be nice for those like my wife who don't really want to bother with the actual driving experience, but it's good enough for me.
Customers of Libertyville used cars may also want to check out older Juke models, which still have that quirky appeal, but didn't get marketed quite so boldly. New or pre-owned, the Juke is a force to be driven and the turbocharged engine just adds to the fun.
