Chin Hair Removal

Chin hair removal can quickly become a priority as thoughts of childhood nursery rhymes invade the corners of your mind. The good news is that there are quite a few excellent options available to you for removing those pesky chin hairs. The bad news is that each of the widely used options that are currently available has its own unique set of pros and cons.

Let's explore them each a little below.

1) Plucking each chin hair from your chin. As far as chin hair removal goes this is a very effective but incredibly painful option. Unlike waxing or other methods that hit several hairs at once and provide an instant bit of pain this is a slow process that removes one single hair at a time and must be repeated over and over again until they are all gone. Ouch! Bear in mind that this is a process that will need to be repeated frequently as the hair grows back. It is also very easy to miss a few stray hairs despite your diligent attempts to get them all.

2) Shaving. You've probably been told, as a young woman, that shaving will only make the hair grow back bolder, thicker, and double if you choose to shave it. Doctors will tell you that this is nothing more than an old wife's tale. The benefit of shaving is that it's a quick and easy method to remove chin hair. The downside is that stubble may remain behind and that can be more obvious than the longer hairs you've removed. Shaving also must be repeated frequently in order to remain effective.

3) Waxing. The benefit of waxing is that it covers a lot of ground fairly quickly. It will leave behind skin that is smooth and free of hair. On the downside it isn't the cheapest method of hair removal, will need to be repeated, is rather painful and time consuming, and makes a pretty big mess.

4) Creams. There are over the counter creams that are sold to specifically address chin hair removal. These creams can be quite effective at what they promise to do. Many of them even offer money back guarantee if they don't remove the hair. The problem with creams is that you need one for every new body part being treated, they can be messy, they are often very smelly, and the costs can really add up over time.

Take a little time to explore your options for chin hair removal and you might be surprised to discover the perfect solution is closer than you think.About the Author:
