China - Australia are now hours away with more flights announced !

The federal Government of Australia is said to have negotiated a temporary contract for increase of weekly flights between China and Australia. Also, later this year a steady increase in travelers between Australia and China was recorded. The increase in flights is supported by an expected, further spike in demand between the months of November and February 2011.

Each year, there are more Chinese students enrolling in Australian universities. Only during the past year more than 410,000 Chinese visitors traveled to Australia which makes about a 16 percent increase in comparison to year earlier. The predictions, however, support the idea of an even bigger and further increase of travelers between Australia and China that is likely to expedite between November and February 2011. The increase in Chinese travelers can be a possible outcome of the recent economy boom in China. While these travels will also boost the economy of Australia, struggling to acquire more stable revenue from tourism.

Currently, Air China, China Eastern and China Southern are the only three airlines that offer Flights to Australia. The three airlines are also planning a similar increase in routes to Australia

The advantage of this rapid increase, is not limited to Australia alone as another significant airline, Hainan Airlines plans to introduce non-stopflights to Shenzhen from Sydney and return. With this possible addition, the total number of flights between Australia and China will increase from 37 up to 59 between November and February while a total increase of about 60 percent is forecasted. However, the number of travelers may come down after February 2011 or its rather more appropriate to say that it will may no further increase or acquire a stable position.

The new flight routes will include nonstop flights to Guangzhou from Brisbane, Australia. These extra flights will create about 6300 more seats between Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and five big cities in China.

Let's here remember that Australian Government had been pumping constant money in tourism sector. There has also been a visit by famous celebrity Oprah Winfray' who will be taking start of her new Oprah' season from Sydney Oprah, Australia. The Australian Government' tourism campaign coupled with China's economy boom has opened a new chapter in the travel world.
