Choose A Good Web Browser To Have An Enhanced Surfing Experience.

Surfing the Internet has become a part of our daily activity

. As we are individuals living in the IT world so we are Technology freaky. Any new gadget launched in the market is our hunt. So as far the choice of a good Internet Browser is concerned, there is no question of making a compromise.

The basic premise of choosing a good Web Browser is to enhance our working as well as surfing experience. There are many Web Browsers available which are most commonly preferred and used by people. Most of us prefer to use Internet Explorer as it pre installed with the Windows operating system. However, it is not required to make the choice of the browser on the basis of this criterion.

The important thing while choosing a web browser is the security of our PC. No user would accept to face problems of Browser hijack, script errors on websites during their busy working schedule.

Apart from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Chrome are most widely used. A casual web surfer would be pleased if he chooses chrome to be the browser of his choice because it is equipped with antivirus functions and warns him/her while visiting different web pages and whether to land on a particular page or not. However, as far as the level of customization is concerned, Firefox can serve the purpose of its users. It is also speedy for performing different operations and for installing different plug-ins. All these factors make it the best alternative browsers chosen by people over the years.

Internet Explorer allows users to experience various add on facilities but this often has the risk of inviting malicious intrusions to your PC. Moreover, the use of different Activex objects makes it a faulty Web Browser. As a web surfer, my experience has made me to draw the conclusion that Internet Explorer has not been far successful in fulfilling the expectations of Web surfers but the new version of it Internet Explorer is somewhat better than the older ones.

Opera is also considered as a fast Internet Browser in terms of speed with impressive features and compatibility. Windows Safari is also a browser to name another.

People are always in a fix regarding the selection of a good Internet Browser. Even though there is wide variety of options available they fail to decide which one would be the most efficient for them.

Monthly usage of Web Browsers

In January2010, the usage of Internet Explorer was 62.12%, by June it reached to 60.32 and by the end of November the usage recorded was 58.44%. This analysis shows that there has been sturdy decrease in the usage of Internet Explorer.

The usage of Mozilla Firefox in January was 24.43%, in June it reached to 23.81%. However by the end of November there has been a decrease in its usage with the average use of 22.76%.

The usage of Google Chrome on the other hand has considerably increased from January when it was 5.22% then in June it reached to 7.24% and by the end of November the usage level increased to 9.26%

The analysis for Safari in January was 4.53% which did not show much increase till June, 4.85%. But by the end of November the usage recorded was 5.55%.

The usage for Opera in January was 2.38% which decreased in June for up to 2.27% and in November was recorded as 2.20%. Therefore we dont notice either a rise or a high fall in its use.

Moreover, the usage of Other Browsers can be recorded in January as 1.31% to June as 1.51% and till November as 1.79%. These figures help us in finding the usage of different Web browsers from January till the end of this year.

Thus, it can be seen how the market for Internet Explorer has dwindled this year whereas there has been an increasing rise in the use of other Browsers like Safari and Chrome. Users nowadays have many options to select from so that they can have an enhanced and better surfing Experience.
