Choose Bright Attire To Attend A Rainy Festival

It is the season of festivals and this summer has certainly been one of Great Britains soggiest

. We have all wondered when the sun would shine. If you are planning on going to a late summer festival, do not be fooled into thinking we have had all the rain possible and it is bound to be fine and sunny. It will not be. More often than not, just like the Great British bank holiday, it is bound to pour down in buckets when it comes to attending a festival.

It is all very well having a good coat or padded jacket and a decent brolly, but what are you going to do when your poor old feet are sloshing through inches of boggy wet mud? You can hardly go to a festival in a pair of trainers? And do not try and be clever by wearing sandals or heaven forbid, a pair of wedges. The answer, as we all know, is to invest in a good pair of festival wellies. You can now plan ahead for your festival, safe in the knowledge that when it rains, it will pour and you may get soaked but you will not get bogged down.

Carry your brolly by all means and make it as big and wide as possible as long as you do not go poking people in the face with it. You can make your brolly cheerful and colourful too to match the occasion so you can eliminate all thoughts of black. The clouds might be this colour but your mood does not have to be and neither should your attire be of dark, sombre or black colour. Yes, this is true whether it is the middle of August or in freezing December. If there is one thing we British have learnt it is how to tolerate the weather, and in particular the rain.

So, back to your feet and ankles and if the mud is going to be bad, you may as well cover your calves. This means buying a pair of festival wellies and these do not have to be boring black either. You can get some great fun colours now for these classic very British boots and festival wellies can be worn for shopping or going to the pub. This means you do not have to buy them as a one off item you will only wear once. They can be a great fashion accessory and look good with a variety of casual outfits.
