Generally it is said that saddles are really an unavoidable thing for horse and rider

but even then when you go to ask riders or any person that which type of saddle they should prefer, you will find everyone silent. It is because neither they get information properly about type of riding and nor about type of saddles present in market. Such ignorance on seeing thoroughly you will get nothing wrong but when you go in deep you will find the fact that only by having right type saddle at right time riding can be enjoyed enough and in adverse trail too. So today I am going to explain you the main two types of saddle which is really required to be understood by you before you buy any type of saddle for your horse.

Firstly we will talk about English saddle. It is a type of saddle which uses to be of very light weight and size. These saddles are mainly used by such riders who know riding but not know much. Actually such saddles are special for them to use because such saddles use to keep contacted horses with rider much so there they get much balance factor. Such balancing factor saves the rider from falling in adverse trail too. Balancing factor in such English type of saddles are also increased because in that type saddle rider use to have rein in hand linked to horses mouth so he easily can control his horse.

In these types of saddles rider takes rein in each hands so that is also another fact of creating more balance in favour of rider and horse too.

And when we talk about other kind of saddle; it is western saddle. It is a type of saddle which uses to be big in size and heavy in weight. Such big size is adopted with aim to distributing weight of rider on wider part of back of horse so that horse cannot be required to bear much weight. Such type of saddles are actually used by riders who use to take participate in races and are well known to all aspect of riding. It is because in such type of saddles horse mouths rein is nowhere but rider has to completely depend on leg, horseback etc for controlling the horse movement.

Apart from that to control the horse rider has to hold two strings in one hand and has to keep his one hand free on his thighs. In short in such saddles, horse and rider use to have been in less contact with each other so there is less balancing factor too.
