One of the most enticing facets of Rift: Planes of Telara may be the new Soul system used to help players determine their abilities in their class. The machine essentially works such as this. You start the game by choosing a Calling - soon after you begin playing, you'll receive your first Soul, a specialization inside the Calling providing you with you with certain kinds of abilities.
