Choosing The College: Documents Required For Application

Once a student has already decided on the college

, he/she should gather preliminary documents which are required for application. In order to complete an application for admission, it is necessary to compile the necessary documents.

Documents required for application documents:

1.First of all, an applicant should provide the admission committee with an application essay where they explain the reasons of applying for this particular college. It should be stressed that the topics for application essays can be different and depend upon the specialization of the college.

2.Second, it is necessary to submit School Report with the Counselor Recommendation.

3.Then, an applicant should prepare a transcript for the junior, first year and for Final High School)

4.Teacher recommendations: it is obligatory to present an admission committee with at least TWO teachers recommendations for the past two years.

5.It is also necessary to submit the test scores:

ACT or SAT

IELTS essays, which are viable for those whose primary language is not English. Second language speakers can provide ACT and SAT, but it is an optional requirement.

Documents required for students who want to transfer from one institute to another:

1.Application essay on general topics, which can sound as Why I want to transfer to this university or college.

2.Recommendations from Dean.

3.College Instructor evaluations: as it has been mentioned before, these recommendations should be submitted by at least two instructors from the college.

4.Additional material: these issues can be provided to enhance the impression on the professor. The quality of the provided material also depends upon the profile of the college. If it is, for example, Final Arts College, it is possible to provide images or art pictures. In case, you are applying for Business College, you can submit types of official letters. Remember, the more documents are submitted, the more chances to enter the college an applicant has.
