To choose a college means to choose ones life

To choose a college means to choose ones life. But if one wants to have rich and rewarding life, should he/she enter the college with big name and respectable reputation? Would such college provide his disciple the same fame as it has? To find the answers on those questions is the task of every school-leaver aiming to get respect in life.

Do not run for the big name

Sometimes in pursuit of prestigious name and veneer, students absolutely forget about their own preferences, talents, gifts for a particular activity. That is a serious mistake. Colleges with their fame appear and disappear, but on what mental furniture a graduating student will receive in a college, depends how self-made man/woman he/she would be. As the life experience shows, a lot of employers search for the significant knowledge and skills. And it does not matter where those skills were obtained, in gorgeous University or in the higher education establishment less famous to everyone.

Do not think about your null chance to enter the prestigious college.

This is a stereotype that should not exist at all. Remember one simple fact. The present-day famous Universities were founded long ago by ordinary people, not by Gods. Only long history and brilliant career results of their graduates played an important role in forming legends around them.

Be not scared with the thought you can not study in a particular college because of lack of money.

You always have the right to apply for financial aid. The only thing here, you have to prove your exceptionality and provide stable reasons why you deserve this aid.

Do not hurry up to make a hasty conclusion. Investigate colleges as much as possible. Learn as much information as they can provide you in order to compare it and make the variant the most appropriate to you.

Try to apply to several colleges. Nobody rejected such right of you. Who knows, may be you will have the chance in a place where you have not expected.

Make a choice and go ahead!
