Many women who are at the age where symptoms of menopause start appearing will think about taking menopause hormone therapy

. Some women are hesitant about therapy because of the possible side effects that have been experienced by others. Meanwhile, there have been women that haven't suffered from any side effects at all.

Hormones are given in different amounts to women in order to help them deal with additional menopausal symptoms. Hot flashes are a symptom women experience that are one of the worst to deal with. It involves a sudden, intense heat that fills the body that can cause sweating even when not moving. Their face will appear flush while feeling a lot of discomfort. Hot flashes can occur during the night, causing women to wake up and lose sleep. In most cases, these symptoms are relieved by menopause hormones.

Also, hormone therapy often will treat vaginal dryness and prevent brittle bones from fracturing. Colon cancer is far less likely to occur and cholesterol levels will improve as a result of therapy as well.
