In this way, as well as benefiting from space and amenities, buying a house as opposed to an apartment in Empuriabrava or Roses will also allow you to be close to the centre of things or maybe the beach. This is a perfect option for larger families or those who want to enjoy extended holidays. Eventually, a small house in Roses might also enable you to settle permanently in Spain and enjoy a peaceful retirement.

A villa in Rosas or a villa at Ampuriabrava

A villa in Spain is of course appropriate for those with a more sizable budget, although it should be borne in mind that houses in Spain, as are houses in France, are still cheaper than houses at home. As Spanish villas tend to the large size, they are, of course, more often found on the outskirts of town than apartments or houses in Empuriabrava or Roses, but the advantages have convinced more than one buyer! Often found close to canals, they may well be equipped with one or more boat mooring which will delight lucky yacht owners. They generally also enjoy a large garden, often with a private pool, making for an unforgettable holiday in total relaxation.
