Need-blind is policy where the student is evaluated without any view to family income or assets. Need-sensitive is appalling policy used by a mass of elite schools such as Duke and Emory. Parents and student have to visit the potential schools in order to know all the advantages and disadvantages. The next important step is to confirm that the school is open and there will be someone ready to ask all the questions. Ask all the questions and be an attentive listener.
