Choosing a Great Pontoon Among the Different Pelicans

There are five types of boats to choose from when it comes to the Pelican Bass Raider. Each has unique features and designs so you should study each design carefully and pick the one that best matches your fishing needs.

The first is the Pelican Bass Raider 8. This model has two swivel seats, a built in motor mount on the transom and a bow electric motor mount. Storage options include lure compartments, drink holders and carrying handles. These boats come with an impact resistant RAM-X hull and deck. They also feature extra large sized pontoons so that you have better stability and weight capacity.

The second option is the Pelican Bass Raider 8E which is similar to the 8 model in the sense that is has a built in motor mount on the transom and an electric motor mount on the bow as well as the same storage options. However, it also has pre-wiring in case you want to install a trolling motor or a fish finder. Like the 8 model is also features impact resistant RAM-X hull and deck along with extra large pontoons for greater stability and weight capacity.

The third option is the Pelican Bass Raider 10 which features two swivel seats, a built in motor mount on the transom and a bow electric motor mount. The storage options for this model include lure compartments, vertical rod holders, drink holders and convenient carrying handles. These are ten feet boats constructed from the RAM-X impact resistant hull and deck. They also feature the extra large pontoons that provide you with improved stability and weight capacity.

The fourth option is the Pelican Bass Raider 10E model. This like the 8E model has many similar features to the 10 model including the two motor mounts on the transom and bow as well as the same storage options. However, the difference once again is pre-wiring that can be used to add a trolling motor or a fish finder. As with all the other models it too comes with the impact resistant designed and improved stability and weight capacity.

The final option provided by Pelican is the Rhino Pontoon Fishing Boat. This is a ten foot deluxe pontoon fishing boat that has the best stability and weight capacity of all Pelican bass raider pontoon boats. It features the standard RAM-X impact resistant hull and deck as with all of the Pelican model pontoon bass fishing boats. It has the standard two motor mounts one on the transom and one on the bow. As with the deluxe models it features pre-wiring for optional trolling motor or fish finder. It is different from the standard models by being equipped with two padded and folding seats that have side trays and drink holders. The boat features lure compartments, vertical rod holders and convenient carrying handles. It also features a removable battery compartment, a live well with aerator and a fused control panel so you can get the most out your bass fishing experience.
