Choosing a Helicopter Prix or Other Forms of Transportation
Choosing a Helicopter Prix or Other Forms of Transportation
Choosing to pay a helicopter prix to get from one location to the Monaco Grand Prix is probably the fastest way to actually get to your location. When you pay a helicopter prix you will be getting round trip transportation from perhaps Nice Cote d'Azur International Airport or from Monaco Heliport. This transportation package may be for one or two persons and it may be for Thursday, Friday and Saturday or it may be for the entire four days or it may just be for the big Sunday Grand Prix.
If you go by helicopter it will take approximately 6 minutes. If you travel by road from the Nice airport it will take 25 minutes by road. Or you can choose to take the rails or hire a driver or you can even get there by boat or catamaran. The catamaran may seat from 28 to 56 people. A helicopter prix will include the transportation only and the price various by where you are flying from, where you land and how many people and of course how many days you will require to fly by helicopter. This type of transportation package should be arranged as far as possible in advance. While not the cheapest mode of transport to the Monaco Grand Prix it certainly is the fastest. You can also use this same helicopter to get to the Cannes Film Festival.
Once you make you arrangements for your transport you will also need accommodations, tickets to the various Grand Prix events and also for any other transfers. You can arrange for escorted trips outside of Monaco to other cities such as St Tropez or Cannes or even as far as Marseille. You can plan shopping excursions escorted or on your own. There are many cultural activities in Monaco and the area not to mention the glorious Mediterranean Sea.
The Principality de Monaco comprises 485 acres and has 2.5 miles of gorgeous coast line. It borders on France Alpes-Maritimes and the sea. Monaco has four principle areas. These areas may loosely be defined as the old fortified town called Monaco-Ville on the Rock, Monte-Carlo, Fontvieille, and Moneghetti on the western border of Cap d'Ail. Fontevieille is the newest area and was reclaimed from the sea. It is a manmade waterfront area. The area enjoys 300 days of sun and generally mild weather so you can enjoy a helicopter ride and look below you and watch the sights for that short six minutes most days of the year.
The entire area is considered to be glamorous and glitzy. The Monte Carlo Casino was first begun in 1858 and is a lovely Beaux Arts style building designed by the same architect that designed the Paris Opera House. The gardens are also quite beautiful. It also includes the Grand Theatre de Monte Carlo which is an opera house and ballet theatre. There are gorgeous sea views and plenty of shopping and good food to eat also. So take that helicopter prix and fly in luxury.
