Choosing the Best Associate Marketing Opportunity
If there's one lesson I have learned in my affiliate marketing business career it
is that all affiliate home business systems are NOT created equal, and you can only generate riches with some of them. Sure you have seen all the ads about generating riches. And without a doubt you have seen all the B.S.(way too much of it!).
Everybody claims to have the best affiliate system, but obviously they cannot all be equal. There are many things to take into consideration when you are choosing the associate opportunity that you're going to use to develop your home based biz.
Some of the most important things to consider are:
- The organizations or services that you will promote
- The training that you will receive
- The commissions that you will earn
- The promotion and biz tools at your disposal
- And the level of support that you can expect to receive.
The affiliate selling opportunities are not, you will only end up wasting your time and dollars.
Many people fall into that trap of believing the B.S.. Sure the B.S. sounds enticing and exciting, but can we easily believe everything we hear?
No, and when you are choosing the right home business opportunity, you want to make sure that you will be investing your time and cash into a business, including myself, have at some time throughout their online career tried to make money with a hype filled program. The only problem is that most often there's no substance behind the B.S., and as soon as you start making any progress, the building your biz once again. But there are many reliable opportunities, and you need to utilize the other criteria to choose which one will best meet your needs.
Depending on the niche that you're going to market to, you will want to choose a opportunity that offers products and services that your audience will be interested in. And on top of maintaining relevant offers, you'll want to make sure that you're getting the best commissions per sale.
For example, Amazon is one of the largest suppliers of associate products, but they offer minimal commissions, usually between 7% and 10%.
Compare this to ClickBank, another large provider of affiliate products, who offers anywhere from 30% to 75% per sale. Obviously you can see where you would rather invest your time.
Another thing to consider, especially if you are a new marketer, is whether or not you will be provided any training. While some business systems do not offer their associates any training, there are others that offer in depth training, plenty of resources and a lot of support.
