A lot of people view Christian private blogs as an entirely different entity than other form of writing such as publications and in a way they are indeed a little different. However, understanding the little differences will allow you to create top quality posts and articles, which will open up more opportunities in attracting visitors and readers in the process. A blog without an audience and quality posts is a dead blog essentially.

Are Christian Private Blogs the same with print publication and other mediums?

Basically, the same rules apply such as grammar, proper spelling and appropriate capitalization of your sentences. These writing rules are the same just like what your teachers teach you during school days. Do not throw out the rules of proper writing just because you are writing for a blog. Perhaps, you can drop the formality in the articles that you are doing contrary to the print publication but the basic foundation of your posts.

Print publication has limited space while blogging has limited reader's time. Both of these elements are important in one way or another. But in blogging, the reader's time is limited therefore it is important that you catch their attention during the first few seconds of their time. Visitors and internet users tend to jump from website to website until they find the one that can provide all their requirements without wasting so much time.

Your blog posts should be direct to the point, worth to spend some time to, interesting and informative in various ways. This is mostly the rule of the thumb that all writers whether for blogging or print publication. There are blogs that are set up in the internet only to generate income and I must say most of them have succeeded at some point but to provide readers with valuable information especially in Christian blogging people need to know you are human behind the web page.

There are really no big differences when it comes to blogging and other mediums. When you see a good blog or printed article, you will see that all elements are there. Good writing will always be good writing and has more appeal and valued more by internet users.
