Christmas In Kensington London Bringing In The Spirit

With the advent of the festive season, the city of London transforms into a delightful locale with Christmas decorations filling the streets

. Kensington which is one of the more prominent parts of London is no exception from the rest of the city.

Many of the regular attractions will be transformed this Christmas such as Kensington Palace. This year the birthplace of Queen Victoria will be recreating a Victorian Era Christmas complete with appropriate drink, food, traditions and pastimes to match the festive spirit. Visitors can also create their own Christmas cards, decorations and crackers which they can take home adding a unique aspect to the event. Special tours are on offer from 3rd December to 31st December that will showcase the many attractions on offer at the mansion.

On December 13th and 14th travellers can indulge in a special Christmas themed market on E Cumberland Street known as A Very Kensington Christmas. This festive market is filled with crafts, local art, plants, libations, food and even Christmas trees that will delight even the most ardent of shoppers.

Many of the restaurants in the area will also feature special Christmas themed promotions and dishes that help add to the overall Christmas spirit. The many shopping opportunities in the area also cater to the special spirit with retail outlets having special discounts and special themed items making it a great time to visit for shopping.
