X-mas Present Game

For this you need: 1 Pair of socks, 1 Hat, 1 Dice

A Prize wrapped in several layers of newspaper and boxes.

The group stands in a circle. Place the socks, hat and wrapped prize in the centre of the circle. Someone starts by rolling the dice. Everybody has to take their turn. If someone rolls a 6, he/she has to quickly run into the middle and put on the socks and hat. The rest then start to unwrap the package. They must move fast as the next person to roll a 6 takes the hat off of the person in the center. The person in the center stops immediately, takes off the socks and passes to that person, and he/she goes back to the circle. The game continues until the package is complete unwrapped and the last person receives the prize. It's incredibly fun!

Pass the Dried Seaweed

A team of 5 people to stand in a line, one behind the other. Give each team a packet of dried seaweed. The first person should stick a slice of dried seaweed with his/her lips. This should be passed to the person behind by using lips and continued until it gets to the last person. The winning team is the first one which finishes passing their dried seaweed.

Musical Chairs

The old game. Arrange fewer chairs than people, all the chairs are placed in the middle of the room. A short clip of music is played while the people move around the room. When the music stops everyone tries to sit on a vacant chair (only one person per chair). The person who doesn't find a chair is out'. One chair is taken away and the game continues until only one person (the winner) is left.

Christmas Guess Who

This is a classic game. Decide your topics and select a few words and phrases for people to act out. Have all the people sit on the floor while one person stands in front. Tell the person what he/she is miming and let the other people guess. Once the correct answer is guessed a new actor is selected and play continues.

Winking Murder

One person is elected to be the murderer, and one is to be the Detective. All except the detective sit in a circle while the detective waits outside. The Detective then is called back to stand in the circle. Anyone who sees that they have been winked at lets out a blood-curdling scream and dies. But tell the players not to keep looking at the murderer, because the detective has only to look where they were looking to know who the murderer is.

The detective has three attempts to guess the murderer. If they don't, then the detective is taken away from the group again and a new murderer is chosen.
