The programme to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his starting out as a promoter says that, after arranging small scale concerts around the UK, Raymond Gubbay began gradually to promote in London. Raymond Gubbay now presents more than seventy performances each year at London's Royal Albert Hall and hundreds more around the UK and in Europe and Australia. December 2009 saw a Christmas spectacular in association with Raymond Gubbay, introduced by Mylene Klass, featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Choral Society, tenor Jon Christos and soprano's Alison Jiear and Stephanie Corley.

The Classical Spectacular impresario, Raymond Gubbay will make his debut at The O2 this December. The O2 arena, is a multi-purpose indoor arena located at the centre of The O2, a large entertainment complex on the Greenwich peninsula in South East London, United Kingdom. Christmas Spectacular will come to The O2 on 23 December 2010 for a rousing night of carols, traditional tunes and some cracking Christmas number ones.
