Chrysler Dealer In Portage Knows Brand Is Staking Its Image On New Vehicles
Prepare to be wowed! Chrysler is planning big things for its 2011 models and is counting on customers being impressed
. Soon you will be able to visit your Chrysler dealer in Portage and see what all the hype is about. Or maybe its not just hype.
Not only are dealers getting excited about the upcoming promotion, but Chrysler is banking on this campaign raising consumer confidence in the company, which has kept a low profile since its bankruptcy and reorganization last year.
The big push will come with the revamped Jeep Grand Cherokee which is arriving in showrooms this month. With a new engine and a redesigned look, this popular model may be just the one to get Chrysler back in the game.
Portage used Jeep buyers will definitely want to check out the new Cherokee with its new Phoenix V-6 engine, which will wow them with power. Not to mention the new technology employed in features such as the new Selec-Terrain system which includes Quadra-Trac II and Quadra-Drive II with five terrain settings: automatic, sport, snow, rock and sand/mud.
Your Chrysler dealer in portage and other dealers across the country appreciate that Chrysler has heeded their request to increase marketing efforts for the new vehicles. Dealers will meet in Las Vegas to see the restyled Chrysler models and get ramped up for the new campaign.
Buyers will see new versions of not only the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but also the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Dodge Durango and Chrysler Town & Country minivan. Even the Dodge Avenger and Chrysler Sebring are getting made over, with the Sebring getting a new name Nassau.
Chrysler certainly could use a boost, with a sales increase of only 8% versus the industry increase of 17%; these new models should bring some attention, and sales, to the company. But the word must get out and dealers have expressed their concern over this matter.
"I have people passing by my dealership like I'm not even here," said a Wisconsin Chrysler dealer who asked to remain anonymous. "Image is still everything in this business, and there is only so much I can do. Where's the help?"
Well, it may be coming with the new push by the company to draw attention to the new models in a big way. Chrysler Chairman C. Robert Kidder realizes the gravity of the situation and wants to find the key to changing consumers minds.
Chrysler dealers, including Portage used Jeep dealers, will be working to do just that. Clean up Chryslers public image, inject some excitement into a rather staid company and get existing and new customers excited about the new models. In fact, getting them into the showroom and behind the wheel of a new vehicle would be the ultimate goal.
