taketwo went to Cinnamon Kitchen to experience their range of food on 16th August 2010

. The interior of Cinnamon Kitchen was inspired by fantastic historic Indian architecture and gives a tactile feel of Indian materials. With a fascinating mixture of geometric textures and lighting Cinnamon Kitchen offers a unique setting in which customers can enjoy Modern Indian cuisine.

The popular part of the restaurant is the Anise Bar, which is inspired by the cuisine of Cinnamon Kitchen yet still has its own identity. They have a wide range of imaginative cocktails and a wonderful selection of wines and beers. If guests are feeling slightly peckish they can choose from a selection of small plates or more substantial bar platters.

Executive Chef Vivek Singh has worked with Head Chef Abdul Yaseen to create a brilliant selection of special dishes. Both creating a world first sit down experience consisting entirely of canaps. Diners are in for a treat with both chefs winning the Square Meal Canaps Cup in 2009, you can't go wrong. They present the diners with a spice-infused experience of colour and flavours that far surpasses the limitations of a three-course meal. The canaps tasting menu showcases some of Chef Vivek and Abdul's most exciting mini culinary creations.

The breakfast menu that Cinnamon Kitchen has to offer is a fantastic mix of traditional and unique ingredients to make a great start to anyone's day. Diners can have a traditional English breakfast, which comes with eggs of your choice, Cumberland sausage, oak-smoked back bacon, vine tomato, grilled flat mushroom and toast. Customers can also choose from the mouth-watering Bombay scrambled eggs with tawa paratha, a la carte omelette, bangras butty consisting of homemade spiced lamb sausage in a toasted whole meal bap or a selection of croissants and fruits.
