Citroen has recently released full details including pricings for the much anticipated Citroen DS3 Racing, customer orders were being taken from 1st September 2010.

The Citroen DS3 racing has a very impressive racing pedigree; it has been developed by Citroen Racing, the same team behind the winning WRC team which delivered 6 driver's titles.

The specially tuned 1.6 litre THP engine produces 207bhp and produces a maximum of 275nm torque. The DS3 Racing boasts a top speed of 146mph, a 0-62mph time of 6.5 seconds.

The Racing model is based on the top of the range DS3 DSport THP 150; it has been heavily modified by Citroen Racing to deliver optimised sporting characteristics and specific equipment from the world of motorsport.

The DS3 Racing is much better equipped than most of its competitors, it is a driver's car that does not compromise on comfort or technology. Standard spec includes automatic digital air conditioning, Bluetooth with USB connectivity and an eight-speaker HiFi system.

Citroen DS3 Racing is priced at 23,100 MRRP OTR, including VAT set at the new 20% rate as first deliveries are expected to commence early in 2011.
