Its not often you sell the same car twice, but for one stunned car dealership owner

he now has the privilege of selling a 1960s Morris Minor for the second time. The burgundy-coloured car first hit the forecourt in 1968 where it was sold for 631, but now four decades later the Morris Minor 1000 is said to be worth more than the cars price with an undisclosed four-figure sum, according to the Daily Mail website.

Not only did the previous owner pay over 600 for this vintage vehicle but he also had to part exchange his Austin A35 and pay to have seatbelts fitted in order to drive it. This little classic beauty won the best in class title at Bridgnorth in 2000 and took part in many Morris Minor rallies.

Craig Styles, sales representative of the garage, said we received an email from the owner asking whether we were interested in buying it back. When the classic car rolled onto the forecourt a couple of weeks ago the employees at the dealership were surprised by the immaculate condition of the car and even love the attention from people who want to stop and ask questions about the unique motor.

Classic car owners and enthusiasts will tell you that classics should be cherished but unfortunately this Morris hadnt been on the road for over two years, according to the Daily Mail website, so the owner decided to hand it over to someone who would look after and cherish it.

It a crime to keep such a legendary piece of history hidden away from the envious eye of the public - good job its now in the hands of T Wall Garages, in the West Midlands, who want to take the classic car to charity events, school visits and other promotions.
