Make sure that the brushes you will be using aren't heavy because if they are, you will have a hard time cleaning both your windows and your blinds. Though you will stand on a stool to reach high areas, you still have to extend your arms over your head for several minutes and a heavy brush will make your situation worse.

It cannot be avoided that when cleaning, you'll use cleaners. You just have to see to it that you use cleaners that are appropriate with the material of your windows or else you will get them damaged. For vinyl and metal slats, never use detergents that can corrode them. In addition, use quick drying cleaners for wood so that it will not absorb the liquid and can make the material flaky.

Soft thin cloth is also needed when you clean the slats. They are light and can easily slide and fit in between the slats. The use of cloth is good especially if you are removing the extra dust. It is also best if you have two soft cloths so you can use the other one to dry the slats if you have used water with the cleaner.

With these simple ways, you will have no problem in cleaning your windows. Also, you can surely get your desired result.
