Here are few steps that you should follow to make sure the diamond and its respective ring both are cleaned efficiently.

The things that you may be requiring are as follows:

Small dishes (they should be not be too big contact lens dishes can be used)

Some old toothbrushes make sure that they are clean themselves and that there is no microbial growth found on them

Few Rubber Gloves and glass cleaners

Now first of all, close the drain of your sink. Make sure that it should be closed in such a way that there is no chance of leaking. If your sink is of ceramic, make sure that there are no cracks as this may enhance seepage and the water cannot store in it.

Now wear gloves and put water in the sink. While doing this, you should make sure that you use the hottest water that you can tolerate while wearing the gloves. After this, soak the ring in water and keep it for a few minutes in it. Meanwhile, you can add glass cleaner in the contact lens dish.

Take out the ring from water and dip it in the window cleaner. Scrub it thoroughly for several minutes with the toothbrush. Make sure that you clean all the sides and the narrow cuts where dirt might be accumulated.

After this, refill the sink again with hot water. Then keep scrubbing the ring with toothbrush in the water. Even though you should scrub the toothbrush thoroughly, make sure that you do not apply too much force otherwise you might break the prongs which are holding the stone.

Rinse the ring well and repeat the steps in the same manner if you are not satisfied. At the end of the day, you will have yourdiamond ring in its perfectly glowing look.
