Cleansing Healing Crystals: How To Cleanse Your Crystals.

When you first get new crystals or if your crystals start to change their appearance

, meaning they start to look dull, cloudy or perhaps they just feel less vibrant, then it's time to choose a technique to cleanse your crystals, that you feel comfortable with, and watch your crystals come to life!

Moon baths: Placing your crystals out under moonlight is a gentle and penetrating method for cleansing and recharging your crystals. The full moons' light is the brightest in its cycle, thus giving a greater charge to your crystals. You can also place your crystals on the earth for an additional charge while cleansing them under Moon and Stars.

Creative Visualisation: Imagining and using your intent or a focused mind to see white light cleansing your crystal, for example a column or a ball of light, and any energies that do not belong to the crystal are released into the light. The white light also charges the crystal as it clears it. You will know when the crystal is clear by its appearance.

Water: Allowing running water to flow over your crystals will clear any built up energies. Fresh water is best; rain, streams or purified. The ocean can work too, but be aware that the ocean is powerful... I know many people who have lost their crystals to the sea. You must clean them in fresh water so all the salt has been removed as it will dissolve the surface of some crystals.

Bed of Rice: Rice absorbs and transmutes negative energy and so placing your crystals on a bed of brown rice sees them constantly cleansed. For those whose crystals are out in public, this is a great technique to use if your crystals will being touched by others.

Grandfather Sage: Burning Sage to smudge over your crystals and space allows the smoke pull any negativity into it and transform it... as you cleanse your crystals you are cleansing yourself too!
