Its discretionary weight was shifted low and deep in the clubhead, with a 17-gram horseshoe-shaped weight pad on the rear perimeter of the sole securing an optimal center of gravity and a higher MOI. Moreover, it comes with a lightweight Fujikura Fit-On Flightspeed shaft to help increase swing speed and therefore distance. It's all over this club like a cheap suit. The face is 21% wider than the old model, yet MOI has been massively increased due to a 17 gram horse shoe weight that wraps itself around the back. The crown is now ultra thin at only .5mm, and my eye finds this more traditional shape so much more appealing than the ultra scooped Hi-Bore Series. The backweight is very nicely done on this, and along w/a more traditional crown, this club actually reminds me of a SRIXON W 506 on steroids. It's got a hotter face, and a heftier swing weight which helps point out some typical family traits from Cleveland Launcher Driver 2009 side of the family, but the Japanese trademarks are there. The face is a tad clingier, and an emphasis has been placed on balance and accuracy as well as distance.
