Traditionally January has been the month of sales

, sales sofas, televisions, clothes and cars. Chevrolet has decided to do something different and start its sale in December, according to Chevrolet during January people are too busy buying smaller household items to go shopping for a car.

Personally Im not sure if I agree with Chevrolets marketing strategy, during December everyone is busy with Christmas shopping, buying presents and shopping for food. But, saying that perhaps the men of families dont do much Christmasshopping and for some it may be the perfect excuse not to accompany their partners on the dreaded Christmas shopping trip.

Chevrolet will take advantage of the lower VAT too, sales before January 4th will include VAT at the lower 17.5% while the January sales will have to incorporate the new higher 20% VAT value.

In order to entice buyers Chevrolet are offering some of their models at record low prices, for example, the impressively equipped Chevrolet Cruze 1.6 S saloon is available from an astonishing 9,995 on the road - against a list price of 13,395.

The funky little Chevrolet Spark will also be on sale, with the 1.0+ version of the trendy urban hatchback, packing air conditioning, a USB-compatible CD Stereo, electric windows and six airbags as standard being listed for 6,495 - a massive 1,900 off of the list price.

Chevrolets sale will not go into January, which is surprising, these special offers are available for a strictly limited period, and are valid only until the end of December 2010 so if you are looking to buy a Chevrolet Camaro head down to a participating Chevrolet dealer.
