1. Add an advertising header The first and most obvious trick is to add an advertising header. Many custom notepads of course have a header detailing the "author" or designer of the color notepad. Instead of just placing in a logo and some identifying text though, you can take it a level higher and put in a header advertisement. This can have full color images, and a full headline that states your marketing message. Of course, you should not clutter it too much. A well designed and professional looking header should do well.

2. Use a light marketing image as a water mark Another clever way to add marketing content to your color notepads is to use a light marketing image as a watermark for the whole notepad print. This helps you put in a large but subtle advertising message in each page of the color notepad but still maintain it as a function note taking tool. 3. Place a signature footer The footer is also an ideal place to place marketing messages in a custom notepad. 5. Place in notepad inserts Finally, you can also insert your marketing messages as whole pages in between several notepad pages. You can put it every 10-20 pages so that ever so often, the person that has the notepad will see your marketing message. It is simply enough to integrate this in printing, though you will need to have a custom job done through a notepad printing company.
