Clinical Project Management Certification

Project management is the discipline of planning

, organizing, securing, and managing resources to achieve specific goals. A clinical trial project is a team-work involving a group of professionals contributing their work in order to complete a specific task. The team is led by a single person; clinical trial project manager. The Clinical Trial Project Manager (CTPM) also known as the Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) organizes the aspects and components of a clinical trial project that have significant impact on the time and cost consumed to develop a new drug or medical device.

A clinical trial project manager must have skills, knowledge and proficiency in project management techniques and its practices along with the niche areas of clinical research.
