Over 100 persons on board an Air India plane had a close cut off when two car tyres
of the left landing equipment of the airplane deflated shortly after it set down at the IGI aerodrome in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Air India's Mumbai-Bhopal-Indore-Delhi air travel (IC-133) with 100 travellers and six crew members landed at Delhi airport around 10.58 a.m and was taxiing towards the parking embayment when engineers at the ground observed two deflated tyres of the left setting down gear and sparks emanating due to friction, an airline authorized said.They then directly informed the pilot and inquired him to halt the Airbus-320 airplane.

undercarriage in alignment to prevent any fire, he said, adding all the travellers on board are protected.
