The word pest arose from a Latin term called pestis meaning plague which notably caused severe trouble and damage to the lives and health of millions of people world-wide. So arose the relationship where troublesome creatures causing harm or damage to human living or survival were called pests. These simply dont cause damage to the health alone but destroy valuable household things like furniture causing economical problem since fixing fully damaged furniture is similar to replacing it. Termites are the main enemy to this furniture, be it any type of wood these mean creatures would find a way through and eat up all the fibrous wood and chalk them down to powders. Imagine a house full of these hideous pests drilling through your furniture uncontrollably; it would cost you a fortune to fix them back. Best thing to do is to keep checking for powdery substances in your furniture or any sign of crack or unusual wear and tear. This check being done you could anticipate the spread of termites and detect their presence at an early stage. Once diagnosed call a professional who could fix them up, in a clean and non-messy manner and get rid of those idiots once and for all.

Cockroaches could be troublesome too when it comes to disturbing and scraping up food items. You probably cannot eat an item once it is littered or disturbed by an insect more particularly a cockroach since their favourite hiding place is the toilet. This insect is pretty harmful since they carry around millions of germs which are the home of various diseases and if they turn out to run through your food items placed in the dining table the germs obviously would stick to the food and what happens next need not be explained. A big problem with these cockroaches is that you cannot see them at day since they are nocturnal and thus you may not even be able to keep a watch or know that your food item has been spoilt by it thus complicating the problem. Bed bug is another pest that needs notable attention; these are teeny creatures which could remove sleep out of your life altogether, literally. So beware of them since they stay and live where you lie and attack you when you least expect to suck blood out of your body and leaves you with sores and rashes to contend for.
