Advanced courses would include subjects such as advanced product knowledge, supervisory and training skills, cocktail creation for competition, more advanced cocktails, and nosing and blind product training. These skills are highly beneficial for those working within the hospitality industry, and provide a highly efficient and effective means of gaining an advantage over other bartenders or waiting staff.

Cocktail training is also a subject that staff are often very keen to be trained in, as learning the fine art of mixology can greatly boost their own employability. Cocktail experience can help them earn higher pay rates with their existing employer, or certainly allow them to pick up better tips from customers. For the more adventurous it can provide them with the knowledge required to work in the best bars in any city, enabling them to travel the world with their cocktail making skills.
